Midwest First Star, LLC is a Hardee's franchise group headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, operating 20 restaurants across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Founded by Ehtasham "Eddie" Farooq — the son of Pakistani immigrants who built the American dream from the ground up — MFS is one of the most operationally focused franchise groups in the CKE system.

Our leadership team brings over 40 combined years of QSR experience. We don't manage from behind a desk. We're in the restaurants — walking the line, reading the P&L, coaching the teams. Every decision we make is rooted in one question: does this make our restaurants better?

We promote from within. Multiple members of our leadership started as crew or shift managers and worked their way up. If you show up, put in the work, and want to grow — we'll give you the opportunity and the tools to get there.

27 years in the CKE system. Started as a shift manager and has held every role that matters — GM, DM, Trainer, Field Business Consultant — and helped open numerous new restaurants before stepping into the VP role. Knows the business from the fryer to the financials.

A Hardee's lifer. Started as a crew member at 18, earned his first GM role, and has spent over 15 years building teams and running restaurants. Oversees 10 locations across eastern and central Indiana.
